Turn summary

Gametime check only: all nine slots were filled and every player already locked, so there was nothing to swap. Noted that Deebo Samuel (FLEX) was ruled Out for Week 1 and that my WR2 slot went into kickoff empty — both get fixed by an early, fully-populated Week 2 lineup.

What it did

This is a gametime check for Week 1. But my roster shows everything LOCKED. Hmm — that's odd. My notes said Week 1 postmortem already happened, but now it says Week 1, record 0-0-0, and all players LOCKED. Also my current lineup shows Deebo Samuel [Out] in FLEX presumably, and WR2 slot... Actually the roster listing shows players with statuses. Deebo is Out and locked. So I can't fix it. Wait — everything is LOCKED, so set_lineup would fail on any change. Let me check the matchup and team to see the current lineup state. Actually, since all are locked, there's nothing I can do. But let me verify with get_my_team to see the actual lineup slots. Let me do get_my_team and get_matchup in one block. Actually, the instruction: "React to injury news and swap only players whose games have not started." Everything is locked so nothing can be swapped. But maybe the lock is only for players whose games started; locked means unchangeable. Let me just check team/matchup quickly and finish. Given 250 seconds, I have plenty of time but limited value in research. Let me do one call to get_my_team to confirm lineup, then finish_turn with updated notes. Deebo is Out — that's a problem for FLEX, but he's locked. Malik Washington is on bench, locked too presumably. If Deebo is locked in FLEX and Out, I lose that slot. Can't change it. Let me check. Confirm which slots are filled and locked before the games start, since Deebo is marked Out.

HarnessYou replied with text but did not call a tool, so nothing happened. You have not acted yet. Call one of the available tools, then call finish_turn. You have 8 steps left in this turn. (Reminder 1 of 3; after that the turn ends.)

All slots are filled. Deebo is Out (FLEX), but he's locked. I can check the schedule to see whether the SF game has started — if it hasn't, maybe I could swap... but all players are locked, so set_lineup would fail. Let me quickly check the schedule to confirm locks and see if anything is actionable. Actually, given everything is locked, nothing can change. But let me verify with get_schedule to confirm that all my players' games have started (explaining the locks), then finish the turn with notes. Actually, spending a step to check schedule is reasonable but not strictly necessary. However, if SF's game hasn't started and Deebo is Out, and Deebo is locked... locked players can't move anyway. So no action possible. Let me just do one schedule check to confirm the state and to be diligent, then finish. Actually — is there any point? The instruction says react to injury news and swap only players whose games have not started. All locked. So no swap possible. I'll do a quick get_matchup/get_schedule check to record facts, then finish. Let me combine: get_schedule (week 1) to see kickoff times, plus maybe get_matchup to see points. But the WK1 matchup isn't finalized per notes. Keep it cheap: get_schedule only. I have 104 seconds. Let me do get_schedule and then finish_turn. Actually, I should skip further calls to save time — but one call is cheap and informative. Let me do get_schedule and finish_turn in sequence (dependent: no, they're independent, but I want the info to inform notes). I'll call get_schedule alone first. Hmm, but steps left: 7. Fine. Let me just call finish_turn directly to avoid wasted time? The value of get_schedule is low — locks already prove games started. I'll finish the turn and update notes for Week 2 planning. Deebo is Out for week 1; note that A.J. Brown and Pierce are on IR. Notes update: keep it concise but carry forward the Week 2 plan, adding that Deebo was Out in WK1 (check his status for WK2; if out again, FLEX goes to Malik Washington and WR2... wait, my WK1 lineup only had one WR slot filled — WR1 Flowers and FLEX Deebo. So WR2 was empty at kickoff. Per Lesson F, WK2 lineup must fill WR1, WR2, FLEX. WK2 default nine: Hurts; Cook, J.Love; WR1 Flowers, WR2 M.Wash, FLEX Deebo (if healthy; else Allgeier or Harvey); TE Kraft; K Butker; DEF MIN. I'll write that. Also flag: Deebo's Out status needs checking Tuesday; A.J. Brown IR activation. Let me write notes under 4000 chars. Every slot is filled and every player is locked, so no gametime change is possible; recording the Week 2 plan instead.

3) IR: Brown (NE, bye11, depth 6) is my best WR2/FLEX upgrade if healthy — check activation weekly. Pierce (IND, bye13, depth 11) is droppable for a bench spot if I ever need one.
4) WR wire targets must avoid bye 8/13 and be depth-1. Known bad: Malachi Fields[13285] bye8, Xavier Hutchinson[10218] bye8. Possible: Tre' Harris[12509] LAC bye7. Search sort=trending/season_pts before bidding; M.Wash has bye6 so a wire WR also patches wk6.
5) Trade for a WR3: offer Harvey or Allgeier + <=$15 for Tate[13279] (TEN bye9), Doubs[8121] (NE bye11), Meyers[5947] (JAX bye7). Cap total FAAB in trades ~$25. Terra McLaurin holds all three — re-approach Tuesday.

NEVER TRADE: Cook, J.Love, Kraft, Flowers, Hurts. TRADEABLE: Harvey, Allgeier, Okonkwo, M.Wash, Butker, MIN, Deebo (only if healthy), FAAB.

BYES: Hurts10 | Cook7, J.Love14, Harvey10, Allgeier14 | Brown11, Flowers13, Deebo8, M.Wash6 | Kraft11, Okonkwo7 | Butker5, MIN6.
Gaps: wk6 DEF+M.Wash | wk7 Cook+Okonkwo | wk8 Deebo | wk10 Hurts+Harvey | wk11 Kraft+Brown | wk13 Flowers+Pierce | wk14 J.Love+Allgeier.

Record 0-0 (WK1 not finalized). Research used wk1: 0 of 8 — full budget for wk2.
What this agent was asked
System prompt
You manage the fantasy football team "1st and Qwen".

You manage one team in a 12-team half-PPR redraft league (ten other models and one human). Roster: QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, FLEX (RB/WR/TE), K, DEF, 6 bench, 1 IR.

ADP (average draft position) is provided as a rough starting point only. It reflects where human drafters were taking a player before the season, not a projection of how they will perform. It is frequently wrong, it does not account for injuries, depth-chart changes, or your roster needs, and it goes stale quickly. Treat it as one weak signal among many: do your own research and reach your own conclusions. Drafting strictly by ADP is not reasoning, and you will be judged on your reasoning.

The projection shown is Sleeper's model-generated estimate for the week. It is one model's opinion, not a fact and not a result. It misses late injury news, weather, game script, and coaching intent, and it is routinely wrong by a wide margin on individual players. Do not simply start whoever has the higher projection — that is not analysis, and it is not what you are being judged on. Use it as a sanity check against your own view, research the cases where you disagree with it, and be prepared to explain why you departed from it.

Every reply you make must be a tool call — text on its own does nothing and is not recorded as an action. You have a limited number of steps and a limited amount of time per turn, and you will be told how much of each remains at each step. A turn that runs out of time is abandoned. If you are told fewer than 20 seconds remain, stop gathering information, act immediately, and call finish_turn. Always end your turn by calling finish_turn with a summary and your updated notes. A turn that ends without it is recorded as incomplete, and your notes are left unchanged. Your notes are your only memory between turns: nothing else you do this turn is carried forward, and you will be shown them at the start of every future turn. Treat them as a working document — rewrite them each turn, keep what still matters, delete what does not, and record what you plan to do next rather than only what you have already done. Keep them under about 4000 characters. They are included in every turn you take for the rest of the season, so anything stale in them costs you on every future decision.
Turn instructions
This is a short check, not a full re-optimization. React to injury news and swap only players whose games have not started. If nothing needs changing, that is the normal outcome — call finish_turn and leave the lineup alone.

Your notes from last turn:
WK1 POSTMORTEM (cost me ~7-10 pts, possibly the matchup): WR2 EMPTY at gametime while Malik Washington (WR, MIA, proj 6.7) sat on my bench. Not a roster problem — a sequencing problem.
=> LESSON F (HARD RULE): The FIRST tool call of every week, before research/trades, is set_lineup with ALL 9 slots filled by eligible players. set_lineup is atomic: one invalid slot fails the whole call. After locks, an empty starter slot can never be filled and locked BN players can't be promoted. Always have a WR2 name in hand before anything else.
=> LESSON G: activate_from_ir works mid-week (IR<->BN only); can't promote straight into a starter slot.
=> LESSON H: Trade threads vanish between turns. My Harvey+$10-for-Tate offer to Terra McLaurin died unanswered. Send offers EARLY in the week.

ROSTER (14, all locked, no open bench spot — any add needs a drop named; roster-full adds fail unless a drop is specified): QB Hurts | RB Cook, RB J.Love | WR Flowers, FLEX Deebo | TE Kraft | K Butker | DEF MIN. BN: Harvey, Allgeier, M.Wash, Okonkwo, Brown(IR), Pierce(IR). FAAB $100.

WEEK 2 PLAN (first turn = Tuesday):
1) set_lineup FIRST, every slot filled. Default WK2 nine: Hurts; Cook, J.Love; Flowers, Deebo, M.Wash(FLEX); Kraft; Butker; MIN.
2) THEN injury/status checks: J.Love (ARI RB1) — if OUT, Allgeier to RB2 and Harvey to FLEX. Flowers (was Questionable WK1). Okonkwo (WAS TE) — don't start over Kraft unless confirmed active.
3) IR: Brown (NE, bye11, depth 6) and Pierce (IND, bye13, depth 11). Brown healthy = best WR2/FLEX upgrade available to me; check for activation each week.
4) WR wire targets need bye NOT 8/13 and depth-1 usage. Known bad: Malachi Fields[13285] bye8, Xavier Hutchinson[10218] bye8. Possible: Tre' Harris[12509] LAC bye7. Search sort=trending/season_pts before bidding; M.Wash has bye6 so a wire WR would also patch wk6.
5) Trade: I want a WR3. Offer Harvey or Allgeier + <=$15 FAAB for Tate[13279] (TEN, bye9, was Questionable), Doubs[8121] (NE, bye11), Meyers[5947] (JAX, bye7). Cap total FAAB committed in trades at ~$25 to keep wire budget. Terra McLaurin (team-05) is my WK1 opp and holds all three; re-approach early.

NEVER TRADE: Cook, J.Love, Kraft, Flowers, Hurts, Deebo. TRADEABLE: Harvey, Allgeier, Okonkwo, M.Wash, Butker, MIN, FAAB.

BYES: Hurts10 | Cook7, J.Love14, Harvey10, Allgeier14 | Brown11, Flowers13, Deebo8, M.Wash6 | Kraft11, Okonkwo7 | Butker5, MIN6.
Gaps: wk6 DEF+M.Wash | wk7 Cook+Okonkwo | wk8 Deebo | wk10 Hurts+Harvey | wk11 Kraft+Brown | wk13 Flowers+Pierce | wk14 J.Love+Allgeier.

Record 0-0 (WK1 matchup not yet finalized). Research used wk1: 0 of 8 — full budget available for wk2.
