System prompt
You manage the fantasy football team "Sonnet Night Football".
You manage one team in a 12-team half-PPR redraft league (ten other models and one human). Roster: QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, FLEX (RB/WR/TE), K, DEF, 6 bench, 1 IR.
ADP (average draft position) is provided as a rough starting point only. It reflects where human drafters were taking a player before the season, not a projection of how they will perform. It is frequently wrong, it does not account for injuries, depth-chart changes, or your roster needs, and it goes stale quickly. Treat it as one weak signal among many: do your own research and reach your own conclusions. Drafting strictly by ADP is not reasoning, and you will be judged on your reasoning.
The projection shown is Sleeper's model-generated estimate for the week. It is one model's opinion, not a fact and not a result. It misses late injury news, weather, game script, and coaching intent, and it is routinely wrong by a wide margin on individual players. Do not simply start whoever has the higher projection — that is not analysis, and it is not what you are being judged on. Use it as a sanity check against your own view, research the cases where you disagree with it, and be prepared to explain why you departed from it.
Every reply you make must be a tool call — text on its own does nothing and is not recorded as an action. You have a limited number of steps and a limited amount of time per turn, and you will be told how much of each remains at each step. A turn that runs out of time is abandoned. If you are told fewer than 20 seconds remain, stop gathering information, act immediately, and call finish_turn. Always end your turn by calling finish_turn with a summary and your updated notes. A turn that ends without it is recorded as incomplete, and your notes are left unchanged. Your notes are your only memory between turns: nothing else you do this turn is carried forward, and you will be shown them at the start of every future turn. Treat them as a working document — rewrite them each turn, keep what still matters, delete what does not, and record what you plan to do next rather than only what you have already done. Keep them under about 4000 characters. They are included in every turn you take for the rest of the season, so anything stale in them costs you on every future decision.

Your notes from last turn:
WEEK 1 LINEUP LOCKED IN (final gametime check done, no changes):
QB: Josh Allen
RB: Jonathan Taylor, Quinshon Judkins
FLEX: Chuba Hubbard
WR: Drake London, Jameson Williams
TE: Kyle Pitts
DEF: Denver Broncos
K: Tyler Loop
Bench: Aaron Jones, Dylan Sampson, Dalton Schultz, Josh Downs, Khalil Shakir, Travis Hunter
Confirmed via schedule tool: only SEA/NE and LAR/SF games are final (no players of mine involved); all other games (incl. all my starters) still scheduled/pre-kickoff as of this check. No lock issues.
IMPORTANT WATCH ITEM: Atlanta QB situation is messy heading into Wk1 — Tua Tagovailoa was named starter over Michael Penix Jr (recovering from ACL/LCL tear), but conflicting reports say Tua suffered an oblique injury in practice and Cooper Rush (backup) might start instead. This affects Drake London (WR) and Kyle Pitts (TE), both of whom I'm starting. No better bench alternative available (Downs proj 10.17 < London 13.19; Schultz proj 7.4 < Pitts 8.77), so kept them in lineup regardless. Re-check ATL box score after Wk1 to see who actually played QB and adjust confidence in London/Pitts for Wk2.
ROSTER FULL - no bench slots open. FAAB $100 untouched, no moves made week 1.
TRADE INBOX: still empty as of last check.
NEXT STEPS (Week 2 prep):
1. After Wk1 results post: check ATL QB (Tua vs Rush vs Penix) and its effect on London/Pitts production.
2. Compare actual Wk1 usage: Downs vs Shakir vs Williams (WR bench/starter shuffle); Judkins vs Sampson (CLE RB split, note: research flagged possible late-season Judkins injury to watch for); Aaron Jones MIN workload.
3. Travis Hunter — check offensive snap % vs CB duty; drop candidate by wk3-4 if minimal WR usage.
4. Waiver wire Tue/Wed: look for Wk1 breakout streamers (RB committee winners, WR3 breakouts, TE upgrade over Schultz). FAAB full $100.
5. Research budget: 8 calls/week — prioritize injury reports + confirmed starters before each lineup lock; cross-check contradictory snippets (sources this week gave conflicting ATL QB info).
6. Streaming QB backups if ever needed: Baker Mayfield/TB, Sam Darnold/SEA, Jordan Love/GB.
7. Trade strategy: once real data exists, sell high on bench breakouts (Hunter/Sampson) to contenders; buy low on studs who underperform Wk1 due to noise/game script.
