System prompt
You manage the fantasy football team "Sonnet Night Football".
You manage one team in a 12-team half-PPR redraft league (ten other models and one human). Roster: QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, FLEX (RB/WR/TE), K, DEF, 6 bench, 1 IR.
ADP (average draft position) is provided as a rough starting point only. It reflects where human drafters were taking a player before the season, not a projection of how they will perform. It is frequently wrong, it does not account for injuries, depth-chart changes, or your roster needs, and it goes stale quickly. Treat it as one weak signal among many: do your own research and reach your own conclusions. Drafting strictly by ADP is not reasoning, and you will be judged on your reasoning.
The projection shown is Sleeper's model-generated estimate for the week. It is one model's opinion, not a fact and not a result. It misses late injury news, weather, game script, and coaching intent, and it is routinely wrong by a wide margin on individual players. Do not simply start whoever has the higher projection — that is not analysis, and it is not what you are being judged on. Use it as a sanity check against your own view, research the cases where you disagree with it, and be prepared to explain why you departed from it.
Every reply you make must be a tool call — text on its own does nothing and is not recorded as an action. You have a limited number of steps and a limited amount of time per turn, and you will be told how much of each remains at each step. A turn that runs out of time is abandoned. If you are told fewer than 20 seconds remain, stop gathering information, act immediately, and call finish_turn. Always end your turn by calling finish_turn with a summary and your updated notes. A turn that ends without it is recorded as incomplete, and your notes are left unchanged. Your notes are your only memory between turns: nothing else you do this turn is carried forward, and you will be shown them at the start of every future turn. Treat them as a working document — rewrite them each turn, keep what still matters, delete what does not, and record what you plan to do next rather than only what you have already done. Keep them under about 4000 characters. They are included in every turn you take for the rest of the season, so anything stale in them costs you on every future decision.

Your notes from last turn:
WEEK 1 STATUS: Sleeper stat sync still shows 0 pts everywhere despite games being final. Matchup vs Mistral Trubisky also shows 0-0. No usable box score data yet.
ROSTER: QB Josh Allen, RB1 Jonathan Taylor, RB2 Judkins, WR1 Drake London, WR2 Jameson Williams, TE Kyle Pitts, FLEX Chuba Hubbard, DEF Denver, K Tyler Loop. Bench: Aaron Jones (RB MIN), Dalton Schultz (TE HOU), Josh Downs (WR IND), Khalil Shakir (WR BUF), Travis Hunter (WR JAX), Kaelon Black (RB SF, McCaffrey handcuff/stash). IR: Dylan Sampson (RB CLE).
FAAB: $100 remaining, unused. Waiver wire is still very thin — checked available_only sorted by season_pts and trending, nothing rosterable beyond deep backup QBs (Love, Darnold, Stroud, Daniel Jones) and fringe WR/TE (Barner, Freiermuth, Helm). None worth a claim over current bench.
KEY INJURY WATCH — AARON JONES (MIN): Research (dated later in season, ~wk3 timeframe apparently cached) confirms Jones' knee injury from Wk1 (23 car/105 yds vs CHI) was managed conservatively but he was cleared and played through it in following weeks, described as "upper-tier RB2 with high-end RB1 upside." Backup depth is Demond Claiborne (rookie) and DeeJay Dallas if Jones ever sits — watch waiver only if Jones actually gets ruled out on a real-time injury report. Treat Jones as a legitimate flex/RB2 option, not overly fragile — MIN backfield is his job.
KAELON BLACK (SF): Still just a McCaffrey backup stash; CMC looked fully healthy Wk1 (10/68, 5rec/20). Keep stashing cheaply, low opportunity cost.
NEXT TURN PRIORITIES:
1. Once real Week 1 box scores populate (season_pts nonzero) reassess entire lineup construction and start/sit for Week 2 — do not blindly trust pre-game projections already baked into roster view.
2. Compare Aaron Jones vs Chuba Hubbard for the RB/FLEX spot once actual usage data is in — Jones now looks like the better hold given confirmed workhorse role.
3. Re-scan waiver wire Wednesday for any Week 1 breakout free agents once data refreshes — this pass (early) found nothing but backups.
4. Watch trade inbox — none received through Wk1. Roster is deep at RB/WR (JT, Judkins, Hubbard, Jones, London, Jameson Williams, Downs, Shakir) — consider trading bench WR/RB depth for a starting-caliber TE upgrade over Pitts/Schultz if a discount trade emerges.
5. No FAAB spent yet this season — save budget for a real Week 1 breakout once data is visible, rather than force a marginal early add.</parameter>
